Senior Product Manager (Retail Sports)

We are ready to take this game to the next level and need someone passionate about product strategy, marketing, and innovation to join our team as a Senior Product Manager, Retail Sports. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of product and marketing strategies for OLG's Retail Sports portfolio, including retail sports betting and brick-and-mortar innovation initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, optimizing product performance, and delivering engaging customer experiences that drive player participation, revenue growth, and business success.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME

Reporting to the Director, Sports, you will be empowered to:

Develop and execute annual product and marketing plans that drive player participation, customer satisfaction, and achievement of revenue and net profit objectives.
Manage the performance of Retail Sports products and initiatives by monitoring sales trends, forecasting results, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to improve business outcomes.
Lead the product management of key Retail Sports offerings, ensuring alignment with business objectives, market opportunities, and customer expectations.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend new product, marketing, and growth initiatives that strengthen OLG's retail sports offering and market position.
Support retail and brick-and-mortar innovation initiatives, including business requirements, research, testing, implementation planning, and go-to-market activities.
Collaborate with Retail, Digital, Marketing, Operations, Innovation, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated product strategies and exceptional customer experiences.
Provide subject matter expertise on retail sports betting, industry trends, consumer behaviour, and market opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
Support media planning, marketing execution, sponsorship activities, and brand initiatives to maximize product awareness and engagement.
Manage and monitor marketing budgets, forecasts, and promotional investments, providing recommendations on performance and variances.
Support project delivery and product launches by ensuring key milestones, stakeholder alignment, communication, and implementation activities are successfully executed.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME

Education & Experience:

University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, category management, sports betting, retail operations, or a related field.
Experience developing and executing product strategies, marketing plans, and business initiatives that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
Experience managing budgets, forecasting, business performance analysis, and reporting.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver complex projects and business outcomes.
Knowledge of sports betting, gaming, lottery products, retail channels, or entertainment industries is considered an asset.
Experience working with customer insights, analytics, market research, and performance metrics to support decision-making.

Relevant Skills:

Strong product management and marketing expertise, including product positioning, promotion, pricing, merchandising, and customer engagement.
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders across the organization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas and recommendations to diverse audiences.
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Experience leveraging customer insights, market research, and performance analytics to identify opportunities and optimize results.
Knowledge of media planning, agency management, promotions, sponsorships, and integrated marketing campaigns.
Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer needs, operational considerations, and financial objectives.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business reporting tools.
Passion for innovation, customer experience, and continuous improvement.
