Reporting to the General Manager, the Morning Manager oversees daytime operations. You'll lead the front-of-house team, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and make sure O&B standards are met on every shift.

The day to day:

Manage the floor during service: the door, food running and connecting with guests
Build relationships with guests, respond to their concerns and resolve issues on the spot
Open and close the restaurant as a key holder
Ensure opening and closing checklists are completed
Organize sections and the floor plan for each shift
Lead, motivate and coach the front-of-house team, setting the tone for great service
Lead new hire training and orientation
Read the daily logbook and keep it up to date
Keep the General Manager and management team informed and pass on any important information
Handle daily accounting and cash-out procedures
Take part in manager meetings and lead pre-shift briefings
Uphold O&B's standards for food and beverage quality, presentation, cleanliness, and health and safety
Perform any other duties as assigned
At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant
Strong knowledge of food, wine and beverage service
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
A calm, positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Availability from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 5 days a week; weekend availability is an asset
Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
Legally eligible to work in Canada

Job Description

Relevant du directeur général, le ou la gérant(e) du matin est responsable du bon déroulement des opérations pendant les quarts de jour. Vous dirigerez l'équipe de salle, veillerez à offrir une expérience client exceptionnelle et vous assurerez que les normes d'O&B sont respectées à chaque service.

Au quotidien:

Gérer la salle pendant le service : accueil, service des plats et échanges avec les clients
Établir de bonnes relations avec les clients, répondre à leurs préoccupations et régler les problèmes sur-le-champ
Ouvrir et fermer le restaurant à titre de détenteur(-trice) des clés
Veiller à ce que les listes de vérification d'ouverture et de fermeture soient remplies
Organiser les sections et le plan de salle pour chaque quart de travail
Diriger, motiver et encadrer l'équipe de salle en donnant l'exemple d'un service exceptionnel
Assurer la formation et l'orientation des nouveaux employés
Lire le registre quotidien et le tenir à jour
Assurer une bonne communication avec le directeur général et l'équipe de gestion, et transmettre toute information importante
Effectuer les procédures comptables quotidiennes et les fermetures de caisse
Participer aux réunions de gestion et animer les rencontres d'avant-service
Faire respecter les normes d'O&B en matière de qualité et de présentation des aliments et des boissons, de propreté, de santé et de sécurité
Accomplir toute autre tâche connexe à la demande de la direction

Qualifications
