Responsibilities
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electromechanical Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and preventive maintenance of equipment, including:
- Interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical documentation;
- Using measuring instruments;
- Performing lubrication operations;
- Carrying out disassembly, installation, and adjustment of shafts, bearings, and bushings;
- Maintaining and repairing motion transmission and conversion components and systems;
- Maintaining and repairing industrial pumps and motors;
- Assembling, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
- Applying logical troubleshooting and diagnostic methods;
- Troubleshooting automated systems;
- Performing cutting, welding, machining, and grinding work;
- Troubleshooting industrial equipment;
- Designing or modifying industrial equipment;
- Adjusting industrial equipment during production;
- Performing any other related duties.
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS/DEP) in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or another relevant field;
- Experience in electromechanics within an industrial environment (food manufacturing experience is considered an asset);
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems;
- Welding experience with TIG, MIG, and Arc welding (asset).

Responsibilities
Maintain and repair industrial equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, and perform preventive maintenance. Diagnose equipment and automated-system issues, adjust equipment during production, and carry out related fabrication, welding, machining, and modification work.
Requirements
A vocational diploma in electromechanics, industrial mechanics, or a related field is required, along with industrial electromechanical experience. Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is required; food manufacturing and TIG, MIG, or arc welding experience are assets.
