What You’ll Do

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Business Development Manager to drive Flextile's sales growth, market expansion, and strategic business development initiatives across Canada and the United States. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, strengthen relationships with key retailers and distributors, and expand our presence across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially driven professional with strong industry knowledge, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to build lasting partnerships and deliver profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

The Director of Marketing is responsible for owning Olympia’s marketing vision, brand identity, and campaign strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives while driving awareness, engagement, and growth. This role operates across both strategic leadership and hands-on execution, balancing long-term planning with day-to-day involvement in key initiatives.

You Will

Develop and execute business development strategies to increase sales, market share, and profitability across Canadian and U.S. markets.
Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with key retailers, distributors, national accounts, and strategic partners.
Develop and strengthen retail, wholesale, and e-commerce sales channels to support long-term business growth.
Support product assortment, positioning, and lifecycle strategies to ensure alignment with customer needs and market opportunities.
Develop competitive pricing strategies, negotiate commercial agreements, and monitor margins to improve profitability.
Prepare sales forecasts, analyze performance metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic business planning.
Collaborate with R&D, Production, Sales, and Marketing to support product development, commercialization, launches, and promotional initiatives.
Deliver product training, presentations, and demonstrations while representing Flextile at customer meetings, job sites, and industry events.

What You Bring

You bring 5-7 years of experience in the tile, flooring, construction materials, or related building products industry.
You have 2–3 years of people management or team leadership experience, with the ability to lead initiatives and collaborate across departments.
You have a proven track record of developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and driving profitable sales growth.
You possess strong knowledge of sales strategy, product management, distribution channels, pricing, and margin management.
You have experience negotiating commercial agreements, developing retail partnerships, and expanding wholesale or e-commerce channels.
You are comfortable analyzing sales data, financial performance, and market trends to identify business opportunities and support decision-making
You bring strong communication, negotiation, presentation, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
You are comfortable travelling approximately 50% of the time across Canada, with potential travel to the United States.
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline is considered an asset.

What We Offer

Competitive salary and commission program
Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, and more).
Paid vacation and holidays.
Participation in the Company’s RRSP and Pension programs.
A chance to grow alongside a high-impact team in an established, respected organization.

How to Apply
