We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join the team at our Toronto branch. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for Stone Slab showroom customers, supporting contractors, distributors, designers, and retail clients. You will process orders accurately, provide product expertise, and work closely with the warehouse teams to ensure smooth execution.

What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist showroom and order desk customers by providing technical guidance and product expertise
- Receive and process orders by phone, email, and in person, ensuring pricing, coding, and approvals are accurate
- Process payments for cash orders
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics staff to schedule deliveries and resolve shipping issues
- Maintain organized records of orders, quotes, and customer communications
- Promote new products and maintain showroom displays and samples
- Collaborate with external sales representatives to support customer accounts
- 1 to 3 years of experience in inside sales or customer service (retail, distribution, or building materials experience is an asset)
- High school diploma required; post-secondary courses in sales, administration, or a related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail when processing orders and payments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Experience with ERP/order entry systems is an asset
- Knowledge of tile, flooring, or building materials is an asset
- Five (5) day work week, must be able to work Sundays

Responsibilities
Assist showroom and order desk customers with product guidance, process orders and cash payments accurately, and maintain records of orders, quotes, and customer communications. Coordinate deliveries and shipping issue resolution with warehouse and logistics teams, maintain showroom displays, and support customer accounts alongside external sales representatives.
Requirements
The role requires a high school diploma and 1 to 3 years of inside sales or customer service experience; post-secondary coursework and experience in retail, distribution, or building materials are preferred or considered assets. Candidates need strong communication skills, accuracy, multitasking ability, capacity to lift up to 25 pounds, and availability to work Sundays; ERP/order entry and tile or building materials knowledge are assets.
