Original job description

Who We Are

Olympia Tile is a leading distributor in the ceramic tile and stone industry, with a proud history dating back to 1927. With branches across Canada and the United States, we are known for our quality products, outstanding customer service, and commitment to excellence. We serve a wide range of markets, including residential, commercial, retail, and architectural design.

What You’ll Do

We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support our Quebec and Maritimes sales team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable balancing administrative support, customer communication, order coordination, and sales follow-up. You will support territory sales representatives by preparing quotes, managing sample requests, maintaining accurate customer and opportunity information, and helping ensure customers receive timely and professional service. This role also includes managing a portfolio of smaller accounts, responding to inquiries, processing orders, and coordinating with internal teams

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, issue, format, and follow up on customer quotes, proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documents.
Assist with customer inquiries by providing timely responses, product information, and support, or redirecting requests to the appropriate team member.
Support order coordination by tracking shipments, confirming delivery details, resolving order-related issues, and maintaining accurate order records.
Process, organize, and dispatch product samples requested by customers, projects, or sales representatives.
Maintain accurate customer, pricing, CRM, opportunity, and internal database information to support reporting and sales visibility.
Manage a portfolio of smaller accounts as a primary support contact, while identifying growth opportunities and escalating leads where appropriate.
Provide day-to-day support to the sales team through research, reporting, document preparation, promotional support, and follow-up activities.

What You Bring

2–3 years of experience in sales coordination, inside sales, or customer service, ideally in a distribution, retail, building materials, tile, stone, or flooring environment.
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in pricing, documentation, and customer records.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer service mindset and professional follow-through.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite, along with experience using CRM, ERP, or internal database systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and support a busy sales team in a fast-paced environment.
Fully bilingual in French and English, spoken and written.
College diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

What We Offer

Competitive salary plus a rewarding bonus plan based on KPI metrics.
Comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, and more.
Participation in the Company’s RRSP and pension programs.

How To Apply

If you are organized, customer-focused, and interested in supporting a high-performing sales team, we would like to hear from you. Submit your resume outlining your experience and why you would be a strong fit for the Sales Coordinator role.
