About The Role

The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for building, maintaining, and explaining the interpretation of Dashboards for a media analytics team serving multiple Brand Marketing Teams. You will be responsible for reporting lifecycle - from ETL work that transforms cloud-based analytics data into dashboard-ready structures, to defining KPI standards, maintaining data quality, and leading stakeholders through the interpretation of results.

You will work closely with our media analytics and market research teams to translate broad business objectives into focused, regularly refreshed dashboards that drive actionable outcomes. You will also collaborate with Global analytics teams to leverage best practices, incorporate new data sources, and build regionally specific views of global dashboards and analyses.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and report solutions for media performance, and enterprise-wide marketing and business performance.
Design and maintain robust data models and KPI logic, applying best practices in dimensional modeling, DAX, and Power Query to create clear, governed, and scalable reporting solutions.
Apply knowledge of paid media KPIs, channel structures, and campaign taxonomies to ensure dashboards accurately reflect business intent and support meaningful performance interpretation.
Translate analysis and standardized marketing KPIs into visualizations that clearly and succinctly communicate outcomes and context of marketing activities to stakeholders.
Own end-to-end data QA and reconciliation by validating dashboard outputs against multiple source data and cross functional tools.
Lead and support stakeholder conversations on how to interpret dashboards, build training and help materials, and document dashboard construction and formulas.
Drive continuous improvement of team reporting capabilities with the goal of enabling stakeholders to reliably self-serve their own reporting needs.
Manage dashboard enhancement requests, blockers, and external dependencies, providing clear status updates and prioritization across business and technical partners.

Education And Experience

Bachelor of Engineering or Science with majors in Business (Analytics), Social Sciences, Mathematics (Statistics), or Computer Science.
3+ years of experience in a Business Visualization role.
Demonstrated expertise in Power BI is required: experience with other Business Visualization tools is an asset.
Demonstrated experience applying statistical analysis to datasets and communicating results clearly to business stakeholders; ability to story-tell from data is a strong asset.
Strong SQL experience with a cloud-based or server-based database system (such as Databricks, Oracle, SQL Server, or Postgres) is required. Databricks experience is preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline concepts, with hands-on experience preparing and transforming data for visualization using Power Query, dataflows, or semantic model development within the BI layer.
Experience with digital media analytics and reporting is an asset.
Highly accountable self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt as business requirements and technologies evolve.
