Reporting to the Vice President, System Strategy, Planning, Design and Implementation, you will turn strategic priorities into achievable program plans and oversee their implementation and evaluation.
Lead a cross-functional team and collaborate with regional and provincial partners across health sectors to close system gaps, strengthen coordination and deliver results. You will be accountable for your portfolio’s planning, team performance, and day-to-day program operations.
This regional role supports the health care needs and priorities of the North East Region.
Here is what you will be doing:
- Drive regional strategy: Assess health care needs, set priorities and lead integrated planning, implementation and evaluation aligned with provincial and regional strategies and Ontario Health’s Strategic Plan and Annual Business Plan.
- Turn evidence into action: Work with regional colleagues to identify data sources and analysis that inform decisions, strengthen planning, and improve performance. Embed health equity principles and priorities throughout planning processes.
- Build partnerships across sectors: Establish committees and communities of practice, engage internal and external partners, and connect regional and provincial teams to address system barriers, resource needs and accountability gaps.
- Advance integration and innovation: Represent the portfolio on regional committees and other collaborative bodies, champion best practices and integrated care models, and recommend program improvements and funding allocation priorities informed by emerging health system issues.
- Lead people and operations: Guide and manage staff, oversee day-to-day program operations, and ensure work follows accepted best practices, government and ministry directives, and regional policies and procedures.
- Deliver measurable results: Establish regional goals and implement initiatives to achieve them. Monitor, evaluate, and report on activities against performance objectives set by the CRO.
Here is what you will need to be successful:
