Who We Are:
Metrolinx’s GO Expansion program is delivering more GO service across the network, including the capacity to deliver two-way service every 15 minutes or better on core routes. Work is already underway on new track, station renovations and infrastructure upgrades on parts of the Lakeshore, Stouffville, Kitchener and Barrie lines. The investment will generate thousands of new jobs and economic opportunities across the region. The ONxpress Civil Joint Venture is comprised of Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. and FCC Canada Ltd. This multidisciplinary team leads the delivery of civil and track works, leveraging global expertise to introduce innovative solutions across the GO Transit network.
What You'll Do
- Receive, review, and process high volumes of invoices with precision, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform detailed invoice validation, including matching to purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready records of all AP transactions
- Proactively communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Requests and secures credit card approvals for payments, while also reconciling statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Support weekly payment processing, through the preparation and validation of payment proposals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Generates and compiles reports as required, providing valuable insights into the accounts payable processes.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory.
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formula usage.
- Familiarity with SAP or Aconex is considered advantageous, showcasing adaptability to diverse financial systems.
- Exposure to project-based or construction environments (highly valued given business model)

Expected compensation for this role is between $70,000-80,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to multiple factors including skills, experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into consideration. In addition to base salary ONxpress also offers a comprehensive medical and dental program, RRSP with company matching and the potential to participate in our discretionary, performance based bonus program.
