Original job description

About the Job

Open Fields Distribution was established in 2018, pioneering the cannabis wholesale and logistics industry in Saskatchewan. In 2022, we expanded further into the Prairies, opening a cross-docking facility in Manitoba that moved to warehousing as the province’s market evolved. In late 2023, Open Fields became a wholly owned subsidiary of FIKA Company, the leading Canadian cannabis retailer with 250+ retail stores nationwide. Currently, we operate over 20,000 sq feet of best-in-class warehouse space, bringing expertly curated cannabis products to the Canadian Prairies.

Reporting & Administration

Maintain accurate, detailed records of customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM system.
Share feedback with the Sales Manager on customer needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare regular summary reports for senior leadership.
Support day-to-day administrative tasks.

Professional Growth & Representation

Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development initiatives.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager to support the sales team’s overall success.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B or B2C environment.
A valid driver's license and personal insured vehicle.
CannaSell SK Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong understanding of sales techniques and principles.
Ability to travel weekly to meet clients and attend events.
Positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to achieve results.
Based in or willing to relocate to Saskatoon, SK. Hub presence is an expectation of the role.
