The Risk and Information Management (RIM) organization provides IT support to the Brokerage Legal and Compliance division. The ideal candidate will possess the required skills and demonstrate a proactive and dedicated approach to their work. They should excel in collaborative environments, think and act strategically, and adapt efficiently to changes within a dynamic regulatory context. The candidate must be able to assimilate new concepts quickly, ask insightful questions when challenges arise, and effectively leverage the expertise of colleagues. Key responsibilities include translating requirements into code, participating in scrum meetings, providing project status updates, and gaining proficiency in our proprietary frameworks and Java best practices.

We are seeking an accomplished Backend Python Developer with expertise in GenAI technologies to join the team and drive key initiatives forward.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Python and React within a dynamic, agile team.Leverage Generative AI tools and coding assistants to enhance development velocity and solution quality.Collaborate with global teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.Participate in scrum meetings, report on project status, and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.Learn and apply Brokerage’s proprietary frameworks and best practices.Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.Respond proactively to change, mastering new technical and business concepts as needed. Skills & Experience Required

Python: Overall 7+ years of development experience with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python. Proven ability to write optimized, efficient, and clean code.GenAI Coding Assistant: Experience with coding assistants like copilot, using Agent mode, Skills, etc.Databases: Proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and related technologies.SDLC : Experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipeline management, containerization, observability tools.Analytical Skills: Ability to design and implement effective solutions to complex problems.Teamwork & Communication: Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and clear communication skills, both oral and written.Testing: Ability to write thorough unit tests covering all major logic components, preferably using coding assistant. Skills & Experience Desired

GenAI application development: Usage of LLM models for application, Agentic implementation, usage of tools to integrate data into LLM context, etc.UI development using Angular / React Framework.Linux/Unix & Shell Scripting: Solid working knowledge.Advanced database skills, including PL/SQL and query optimization.Exposure to various application types: web, batch, and streaming.Experience working in global Agile Scrum teams.
