Original job description

OPENTEXT - THE INFORMATION COMPANY

OpenText is a global leader in information management, where innovation, creativity, and collaboration are the key components of our corporate culture. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to partner with the most highly regarded companies in the world, tackle complex issues, and contribute to projects that shape the future of digital transformation.

AI-First. Future-Driven. Human-Centered.

At OpenText, AI is at the heart of everything we do - powering innovation, transforming work, and empowering digital knowledge workers. We are hiring talent AI can't replace to help us shape the future of information management. Join us.

OpenText Business Network is a cloud-based platform that enables secure, compliant, and efficient collaboration across digital ecosystems of people, systems, and things. Our solutions simplify the complexities of B2B data exchange and deliver actionable insights that accelerate revenue, improve client satisfaction, and drive operational excellence.

We are on a mission to turn information into secure action through digital knowledge workers - and we’re looking for a Lead Product Manager to help us get there.

Your Impact

This is more than a product management role - it’s an opportunity to shape the future of enterprise collaboration. You’ll be at the forefront of building AI-first Information Management solutions that make a real-world impact: supporting sustainable supply chains, aiding humanitarian efforts, and improving access to critical healthcare information.

You’ll join a passionate team, driving innovation through a globally connected ecosystem. You will help define our growth strategies with organic product extensions, AI-led product innovations, and by leveraging the scale of our Business Network product portfolio to deliver even higher value-adds for our clients holistically. You’ll define investment strategies, deliver cloud-native solutions, and champion client-centric development across our Business Network portfolio.

What the role offers:

As Lead Product Manager, you will:

Own product strategy and Go To Market execution for one or more product lines, from ideation to delivery.

Analyze market dynamics, client feedback, and usage data to inform decisions.

Drive roadmap development in quarterly agile cadence with product charters, requirements and epics which align with client needs, market trends, and business goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional development, UX, product marketing, and field teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Evangelize your products internally and externally, articulating value and vision to stakeholders and clients.

What you need to Succeed:

Possess 8-12 years of professional experience in product management, ideally in enterprise software, cloud platforms, or B2B ecosystems.

Strong skills in market analysis, competitive research, and client discovery.

Proven ability to prioritize and make trade-offs across competing demands.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern product development tools.

Experience owning a product roadmap and owning product outcomes.

Solid understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., Private/Public Clouds, AWS, Azure, etc.) and data-driven decision-making.

Familiarity with UX/UI principles and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Familiarity with AI tools (Copilot, Claude) and experience vibe coding/wireframing product demos.

One last thing:

At OpenText, we don’t just build software - we build solutions that matter. We’re a global community driven by trust, character, and purpose. We act ethically, care deeply about people, and always put our clients first.

Join us to be part of a team that’s innovating with intention, collaborating with impact, and driving meaningful change through B2B technology solutions that simplify the globally connected complexities to deliver insightful value-adds for our clients.

OpenText's commitment to diversity and inclusion surpasses legal requirements, evident in our Equal Employment Opportunity Statement of Policy which promotes a respectful and empowering environment for employees of all backgrounds, culture, national origin, race, color, gender, gender identification, sexual orientation, family status, age, veteran status, disability, religion, or other basis protected by applicable laws.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $118,000.00 - $168,000.00; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.

AI Usage Disclosure: As part of our commitment to transparency, we use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist in various stages of our recruitment process, including resume screening, candidate matching, interview scheduling, and communications.
