The Capture Group of OpenText Enterprise Content Management platforms division is focusing on the development and maintenance of the Capture product line. The Capture technology transforms electronic and paper documents into application-ready information providing a flexible, end-to-end capture solution that includes document capture, document classification, data extraction, information validation, and delivery to backend system.
Your Impact:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Developer who shares our passion for developing and maintaining the Enterprise Capture product line. OpenText’s Capture solutions are deployed both on premise and in the cloud. OpenText Capture technology transforms digital and paper business documents into application-ready information providing a flexible, end-to-end capture solution that includes document capture, classification, data extraction, information validation, and delivery to line of business or backend systems.
What the role offers:
As a Senior Quality Assurance Developer, you will:
- Conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyze to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Independently work with Stakeholders to understand requirements, develop strategy & test scenarios.
- Work with lead/manager to develop test plans, schedules, and present time estimations for testing activities to be performed.
- Independently perform automation design, scripting, and maintenance of a test script/environment
- Plan test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, conduct tests, complete specifications and procedures for products, and document results of tests.
- Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
What you need to succeed:
- BS or MS in CS or a related technical field and 5+ years of enterprise software QA experience
- Experience with both on-premises and cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot
- API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Experience testing enterprise applications, APIs, and backend services hosted on Linux servers.
- Experience with developing and maintaining Automation scripts in C# programming language.
- Experience testing with Dockers and related containerization technology, Kubernetes or related orchestration software,
- Experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform
- Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions and Test reports
- Good understanding of QA methodology and Product Development Life Cycle
- Possess strong problem solving skills, right attitude to debug and do RCA.
- Passion for quality
Desired
- Experience with load, stress, and Performance testing.
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to improve software quality, testing efficiency, and automation coverage.
- Exposure to Test automation tools such as Playwright
- Experience with Gitlab

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.
Salary Range: $81,600.00 - $122,400.00; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
