A role in OpenText Professional Services is more than just delivering projects - it’s an opportunity to shape how global engineering leaders manage critical information across complex asset lifecycles. As a Technical Architect, you will design and deliver cutting-edge Enterprise Content Management solutions, helping clients successfully digitize their operations while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and innovation.
The Technical Architect will act as a leading authority on architecting the proper Enterprise architecture to sustain large volumes of content from multiple sources. Understands client requirements and advises client on solution options. They will also apply expert business skills and consulting methodologies to collect and analyze data. Exhibits a broad knowledge of all service offerings within Open Text, working with other team members to grow and develop knowledge as the product offering extends in features and settings. Collaborates with the sales team to scope the specialized portion of proposals for client engagements.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
Lead end-to-end delivery of OpenText Enterprise Content Management solutions using OpenText Content Management, OpenText Core Content Management, and OpenText Documentum Content Management solutions across complex enterprise environments.
Design and implement integrations with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and engineering systems.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Troubleshoot high-level escalations, adapt project scopes, and maintain momentum within matrixed, global environments.
Hands-on expertise (3+ years) with ECM platforms such as OpenText Enterprise Content Management solutions using OpenText Content Management, OpenText Core Content Management, and OpenText Documentum Content Management or similar solutions.
3+ years of work experience in container ecosystems such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, or Terraform.
Working knowledge with Database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, and/or PGSQL databases, network architecture, firewalls, extranet security, virtual environments, backup and high available structures.
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, configuration automation, and monitoring solutions.
Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, LDAP/Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), TLS certificates, encryption, and secrets management.
Solid understanding of Operating System platforms, Storage platforms, different database products, and cloud deployment providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.
Salary Range: $110,960 - $160,960; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
