The Opportunity

As an Investment Advisor, you will lead introductory and complimentary financial-planning meetings with qualified prospective clients who have entered our established lead funnel, building lasting client relationships and growing a high-quality book of business through a structured advisory process.

This position is supported by a defined lead-generation and appointment-setting process. Our team manages the early stages of the prospect journey and schedules meetings with prospective clients, enabling you to focus on what you do best: conducting thoughtful client conversations and guiding qualified prospects through a structured process where you will follow a proven advisory and sales methodology that includes structured meeting agendas, discovery questions, financial-planning conversations, presentation materials, scripts, and FAQ responses.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working within a disciplined framework while bringing the judgment, confidence, and interpersonal skill required to make each conversation feel natural, personalized, and client-focused.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled introductory and complimentary financial-planning meetings with qualified prospective clients generated through the firm’s lead funnel.
Follow the firm’s established client-acquisition process from initial meeting through onboarding using approved scripts, meeting frameworks and FAQ responses to ensure a consistent, compliant, and high-quality client experience.
Respond thoughtfully and effectively to prospect questions, concerns, and objections while remaining aligned with the firm’s advisory process and value proposition.
Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed records of client interactions, meeting outcomes, follow-up activity, and pipeline status within the firm’s CRM and internal systems.
Manage follow-up activity with discipline, professionalism, and a strong sense of ownership for each prospective-client relationship.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is not simply about conducting meetings. It requires the ability to consistently move qualified prospects through a structured and professional advisory journey, ultimately converting those opportunities into new client relationships and new business for the firm

The successful Investment Advisor will:

Establish credibility and rapport quickly with prospective clients.
Internalize the firm’s scripts, messaging, meeting flow, and FAQ responses.
Handle questions and objections with composure, professionalism, and sound judgement.
Demonstrate strong follow-through and urgency in managing opportunities and completing next steps.
Take ownership of conversion outcomes while maintaining a consultative, relationship-oriented approach.
Build a reputation internally and externally as a trusted, responsive, and knowledgeable financial professional.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience in investment advisory, wealth management, financial planning, financial services sales, banking, insurance, or another consultative client-facing environment.
Strong understanding of personal finance, investments, wealth management, retirement planning, tax-efficient investing, insurance, or related financial-planning concepts.
Registration in good standing as a Registered Representative (RR), Associate Portfolio Manager (APM), or Portfolio Manager (PM) is considered a strong asset.
Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work within a defined sales or advisory process and consistently execute against established standards.
Strong ability to learn, retain, and confidently communicate structured messaging, scripts, financial concepts, and approved responses to common client questions.
Comfortable working in a performance-oriented environment with clear expectations and conversion objectives.
French-language proficiency is considered an asset.
