Job Description

Opower Sales Executives don’t get meetings and process orders. They build the business by building relationships with utility leaders. They apply utility industry, demand-side management, customer engagement, and Opower expertise to solve some of the most important challenges facing electric and gas utilities today.

They ensure our clients are not just satisfied, but excited by the outcomes they achieve with Opower - the industry’s leading customer engagement and demand-side management platform. Opower Sales Executives grow revenue in current accounts, land new strategic clients, influence utility transformation, and make it look easy.

You’ll help utility leaders improve customer engagement, drive demand-side management performance, achieve regulatory objectives, and deliver measurable outcomes to millions of customers.

You’ll join a talented, high-energy, collaborative, and occasionally silly team that cares deeply about our clients, our culture, and winning together. Every day you’ll work alongside utility experts, behavioral scientists, product leaders, and customer success professionals who are passionate about transforming how utilities engage their customers.

This role is ideal for someone who already understands utility operations, customer programs, demand-side management, regulatory environments, and the unique challenges facing electric and gas utilities. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to utility leaders while helping shape the future of customer engagement across the energy industry.
