Oracle is seeking a strategic, customer-focused Area Vice President, AI Data Platform – Canada Enterprise to lead our AI Data Platform business across Canada.
This executive leadership role will have responsibility for Oracle's AI Data Platform business across all Commercial and Enterprise customer segments and industry verticals throughout Canada, helping organizations modernize their technology environments, accelerate AI adoption, unlock the value of their data, and transform mission-critical workloads.
Leading a national organization of Sales and partnering with Sales Engineering professionals, you will develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Oracle's AI Data Platform portfolio across Canada. You will be responsible for building a high-performance culture, developing exceptional talent, driving predictable growth, and strengthening Oracle's position as a strategic technology partner to Canada's leading organizations.
Working closely across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Applications, Consulting, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Alliances, you will bring together the full power of Oracle to help Canadian customers accelerate transformation through AI, data, cloud, and multicloud innovation.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing national organization of Sales and Sales Engineering leaders and professionals responsible for Oracle's AI Data Platform business across Canada.
- Own and execute the Canada Enterprise go-to-market strategy across Commercial and Enterprise customers spanning all major industry verticals, including Telecommunications, Media, Technology, Retail, Manufacturing, Transportation, Energy, Professional Services, and other strategic industries.
- Drive consistent execution against bookings, cloud consumption, pipeline, revenue, market growth, and customer success objectives while establishing a culture of accountability and predictable performance.
- Help Canada's leading organizations modernize legacy technology environments, consolidate and simplify data platforms, migrate mission-critical workloads, and accelerate the adoption of AI and next-generation data architectures.
- Champion Oracle's multicloud strategy, helping customers take advantage of Oracle technology across OCI and Oracle's strategic partnerships with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud.
- Build trusted relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, business executives, and other senior decision-makers, positioning Oracle as a strategic partner for their most important technology and business transformation initiatives.
- Lead strategic account planning, executive engagement, pipeline development, forecasting, territory strategy, and business reviews to create disciplined execution and sustainable growth across the Canadian market.
- Partner closely with OCI, Applications, Consulting, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Alliances, and other Oracle organizations to deliver a unified strategy for customers and maximize opportunities across Oracle's portfolio.
- Develop and expand strategic relationships with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), cloud providers, and technology ecosystem partners to increase market reach and accelerate customer adoption.
- Build a strong partnership between Sales and Sales Engineering, ensuring technical strategy, customer value, executive engagement, and commercial execution are tightly aligned throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Recruit, develop, retain, and inspire exceptional talent while creating a culture centered on customer success, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and high performance.
- Represent Oracle at executive customer engagements, industry forums, conferences, partner events, and strategic engagements while serving as executive sponsor for some of Oracle's most important Canadian customers.
What You'll Bring
- 15+ years of enterprise technology experience, with significant experience leading high-performing enterprise sales, go-to-market, or customer-facing organizations.
- Proven success leading large, geographically distributed teams, ideally including both Sales and Sales Engineering or closely integrated commercial and technical organizations.
- Demonstrated success growing businesses across multiple industries, customer segments, and technology portfolios.
- Deep experience with AI, data platforms, databases, cloud infrastructure, analytics, enterprise software, or related technologies.
- A strong track record of exceeding revenue objectives, building pipeline, managing complex enterprise sales cycles, and delivering predictable business performance.
- Experience engaging and influencing C-suite executives and senior technology and business leaders within large Canadian organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a country-level go-to-market strategy, translating corporate priorities into clear market, industry, account, and execution plans.
- Strong executive presence with exceptional leadership, talent development, communication, forecasting, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to operate effectively across a complex global organization and bring together multiple teams around a common customer and market strategy.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant leadership experience within the Canadian Enterprise technology market, with an understanding of the country's major industries, customers, partners, and technology ecosystem.
- Deep knowledge of AI, data platforms, analytics, databases, cloud infrastructure, and multicloud architectures.
- Experience leading enterprise AI transformation, cloud modernization, data modernization, and mission-critical workload transformation initiatives.
- Experience building and leading integrated Sales and Sales Engineering organizations.
- Established executive relationships across Canada's Enterprise and Commercial customer landscape.
- Experience developing strategic partnerships with GSIs, cloud providers, ISVs, and other technology ecosystem partners.

Responsibilities
Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations onlyCA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $183,900 to $302,000 per annum.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
