Original job description

# Expression of Interest – Account Executive

**Onsite | Toronto**

At Orah, we're building technology that helps schools keep students safe and gives parents greater confidence in knowing where their children are. Our platform is growing rapidly, particularly across North America, and we're continuing to build our sales team to support that growth.

We're inviting expressions of Interest from talented Account Executives based in Toronto who are interested in joining Orah as opportunities arise.

This isn't necessarily an immediate vacancy. We're looking to connect with strong sales professionals now so that when the right opportunity becomes available, we already know the people we'd love to speak with.

Shape the Future of Duty of Care in Schools with Orah!

Are you a driven, high-energy sales professional ready to make a real impact? We’re on the hunt for an Account Executive to join our fast-growing team and help bring our cutting-edge Student Duty of Care Platform to the world’s most prestigious schools across North America.

This isn’t just another sales role, this is your chance to own a key market, build relationships with top-tier schools, and drive real change in education. If you love the thrill of the chase, enjoy helping clients succeed, and thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

Build Pipeline - Work closely with your SDR to prospect into your list of accounts and do your own self sourcing. You would be expected to add one opportunity for every 5 that your SDR brings in each week.
Demonstrate value with our product - Align prospective clients' needs with Orah’s powerful platform, helping schools enhance student safety.
Simplify the complex - Learn our technology inside and out so you can clearly communicate its value and train others to use it.
Stay agile & adaptable - We won’t bog you down with endless admin, but following key processes will help you maximize success.

Who Thrives in This Role?

At Orah, the best Account Executives are:

✅ Agile thinker - You can listen actively and think on your feet to adapt based on what customers want and need.

✅ People-first – You love working with people, understanding their needs, and helping them succeed.

✅ Target-driven – You set big goals and don’t stop until you exceed them.

✅ Process-savvy – You appreciate structure, numbers, and a smart sales process.

✅ Genuine Curiosity – You actively like to learn - about customers, sales, our product.

✅ Having taken on additional responsibility in a team environment (E.g coaching, mentoring, team projects)

✅ High performance in areas outside of professional work (E.g hobbies, sport, creative)

What You’ll Need

5+ years in a Quota Carrying Role
Experience in a complex selling environment
Have presented to leadership executives on process change
Experience selling SaaS products, ideally at an ACV of $15-$25k with a 30-45 day sales cycle
Management of monthly and annual pipeline as well as proven accuracy in forecasting
Experience with MEDDICCC sales.
Tech-savvy & self-motivated – You pick up new tools fast and love taking initiative.
Willing to work across time zones when needed.

Why Join Orah?

High-impact role – You’ll play a key part in Orah’s growth and work with top schools all over North America.

Career growth – Be part of a fast-growing company with endless opportunities.

Innovative culture – We move fast, think big, and challenge the status quo.

Interested?

If you're a passionate Account Executive who thinks you could be a great fit for Orah, we'd love to hear from you.

To make sure your application stands out when the time comes, send an email to aayush@orah.com with Subject : "Hotshot Account Executive" and send us a short video (not more than 3 mins) telling us about yourself, why you want to work with us and what qualities make you stand out in your job if given an opportunity to join our team?

We'll keep your details on hand and reach out when a suitable opportunity becomes available.

Even if the timing isn't right today, we'd still love to connect.

PS: This is not an immediate position.
