Role Description The Mortgage Agent role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mont-Royal, QC. The Mortgage Agent will meet with clients to assess their financing needs, gather and analyze financial information, and recommend suitable mortgage products. Daily responsibilities include preparing applications, liaising with lenders, tracking files through approval and funding, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with clients, real estate partners, and other stakeholders, as well as supporting marketing initiatives to grow the client base. The Mortgage Agent is expected to provide clear, professional guidance to clients and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry, including current market trends and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with mortgage servicing and end-to-end file management from application to funding.
- Expertise in mortgages and mortgage lending, including product comparison and suitability assessment.
- Skills in mortgage marketing, with the ability to attract and retain clients through networking and outreach.
- Relevant provincial licensing or accreditation to act as a Mortgage Agent in Quebec, or eligibility to obtain it.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in client-facing environments.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle multiple files simultaneously.
- Proficiency with mortgage software and standard office tools; bilingual French/English communication is an asset.
