Job Description:
Investment Banking Summer Analyst (Montreal) will work in a team consisting of Origin Merchant professionals at various levels including the senior principals, on a variety of advisory and financing transactions. The Summer Analyst will have a key role in all aspects of developing and executing transactions, including financial analysis, value analysis, detailed modeling, preparation of presentation materials, research of company and industry dynamics, conducting due diligence, preparation of offering documents and marketing transactions. Summer Analysts may also be considered for permanent analyst positions after graduation.
Job Requirements:
- Strong technical and computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, relevant market data services)
- Understanding of business, economics and finance concepts acquired through education, experience and/or personal interest
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
- Strong interest in capital markets
- Academic track record of excellence
- Previous relevant experience is helpful
