Original job description

Who We Are

At Orion Global Solutions, we’re not your typical tech consultancy. As a Salesforce Summit Partner (the highest tier!) and one of the fastest-growing Salesforce partners in the New York Metro area, we bring innovation, speed, and genuine collaboration to every client interaction. But what truly sets us apart? Our people-first culture. We foster an environment where curiosity is encouraged, growth is inevitable, and every voice is heard. At Orion, you’re not just part of a company - you’re part of something exciting, impactful, and real.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to join our team. This role is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions that align with complex business requirements. You will work across multiple Salesforce clouds and integrated systems, ensuring best practices, technical excellence, and long-term platform stability.

What You’ll Be Doing

Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical designs and solution architectures.

Develop and review technical specifications, data models, and system integrations.

Apply Salesforce platform knowledge to create secure, scalable, and optimized solutions.

Provide guidance on Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, and system governance.

Design and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.

Conduct platform assessments, performance tuning, and optimization.

Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends to recommend improvements.

What You Bring

7+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 3+ years in an architect-level or senior technical role.

Proven experience designing solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, etc.).

Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.

Experience with integration patterns and tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica, Dell Boomi).

Solid understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, and compliance requirements.

Salesforce System Architect and/or Application Architect certifications required; Technical Architect (CTA) certification a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design practical, sustainable solutions.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and explain technical concepts

Why You’ll Love Working Here

We take care of our people. Our benefits are designed to help you live well - inside and outside of work:

Competitive health coverage (medical, dental, vision)

Generous paid time off

Wellness programs and work-life flexibility

Community involvement + volunteer opportunities

Employee recognition and career development support

A vibrant, supportive culture where we work hard, learn constantly, and celebrate often

Let’s Make an Impact Together

If you're passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences, leading dynamic teams, and being part of a company that values innovation and heart - you’ll feel right at home at Orion.
