About The Role

We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Control Specialist. This is a full-time, in-office role 5 days per week. This position requires strong technical product knowledge and business system/process management skills to support quality control (QC) operations in the Canadian market, as well as various business systems and application support for customer service operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in both product QC and IT/system support.

What you’re responsible for:

Follow up on product quality issues and escalations from end-customers, COMPANY departments (Service, Sales, Logistics, etc.), and other channels
Identify field quality issues/inquiries and report findings to the QC Manager, Company HQ, and factory for resolution
Prepare weekly QC reports including service (QC) KPIs and operation status reports for key COMPANY stakeholders
Coordinate onsite warehouse QC operations such as rework, new product inspection (CET), returned product inspection, and product scrap
Manage data recording, keeping, and reporting from product rework, inspection, and scrap results
Validate monthly QC expense invoices received from registered vendors
Manage service (QC) expense claims (e.g., rework) and submit them to Suwon/Factory under COMPANY finance guidelines
Provide day-to-day service business system/application support on user demands and inquiries, responding with timely resolutions
Act as system admin for maintenance, enhancement, and error reporting on service business systems/applications
Submit requests/escalations to regional/Suwon support groups for data or system changes as required
Serve as SME supporting user training and testing in development/production environments
Support implementation of SEC global security/compliance requirements on service-operated systems

To join our team

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in product quality control management
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, IT coordination, or a similar role
Experience coordinating onsite quality control operations with multiple sites/groups
Experience with continuous improvement in business system/process implementation
Experience working with CRM platforms such as SAP CRM or similar systems
Experience in the consumer electronics industry is an asset
Strong knowledge of product quality control operations (rework, inspection, scrap)
Technical troubleshooting, diagnosing, and problem-solving abilities across various IT platforms
Familiarity with basic networking, security standards, APIs, and system integrations
Fluent Korean/English language skills are an asset
Valid driver’s license required (frequent visits to warehouse in Halton Hills, Ontario)
