Original job description

About us: A senior trade finance partner with over four decades of direct participation in global trade. Ossiano operates across more than 50 countries, working alongside exporters, importers, manufacturers, and large buyers. We provide supply chain financing solutions, with a focus on Trade Payable financing and supplier financing - enabling suppliers to receive faster payments while buyers retain extended payment terms. The result is improved working capital, stronger free cash flow generation, and greater liquidity for every participant in the chain.

Role Description Every financing we arrange depends on the work that happens after the deal is agreed: documents prepared and approved, orders tracked, clients kept informed. The Client Services and Operations Supervisor leads the team that does this work. You will own the team's daily priorities and performance, write and enforce its procedures, approve its documents, and coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Sales so clients receive a consistent, well-run service. The role reports to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

Plan and oversee the team's daily activities, and allocate client accounts across the team, reviewing the balance regularly.
Review and approve documents prepared by each team member before they reach clients or counterparties.
Monitor client service quality, assess the team's performance, and give clear, regular feedback.
Manage incoming orders and client flow so every client receives prompt, accurate service.
Help develop and implement policies and procedures; train the team on them and monitor compliance.
Investigate and resolve client complaints, and step in on client service work where needed.
Work closely with Legal, Finance, and Sales to keep transactions moving smoothly between departments.
Provide reports and information to management and the Sales team.
Maintain complete documentation of the department's activities.
Contribute to hiring decisions and performance management for the Client Services team.

Required

At least five years of client service experience.
Experience in international commerce.
Basic knowledge of corporate finance.
Sound knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
Strong computer skills, with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office.
Fluent English and Spanish.

Competencies

Highly organized, with a disciplined approach to process and detail.
Clear communicator with strong people skills.
Able to lead, coach, and hold a team to a consistent standard.
Comfortable working across Legal, Finance, and Sales.
