Original job description
At Oxygen8, we’re driven by a simple mission: to make indoor spaces healthier and buildings more energy-efficient. Our 100% electric ventilation systems improve air quality, reduce carbon footprints, and help people feel safe and comfortable in the spaces where they live, work, and play.
Since 2019, we’ve grown from a single solution into a portfolio of flexible systems designed for how buildings are actually built and used. We value creativity, collaboration, and ownership – here, your ideas can shape solutions that make a real difference.
Working at Oxygen8 means joining a fast-moving, innovative team where problem-solving and continuous improvement are part of the culture. Our momentum has been recognized along the way: in 2025, we were named Vancouver’s #1 fastest-growing company, and in 2024, we earned Company of the Year – Scale from the BC Tech Association, ranked #1 in Clean Technology on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, and #28 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500.
About The Role
Oxygen8 is seeking a hands-on, solutions-oriented Manufacturing Engineer / Engineering Specialist to support the development, optimization, and scaling of manufacturing processes for our innovative HVAC products.
This role is ideal for an intermediate-level manufacturing engineer who enjoys working closely with production teams, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and driving continuous improvement. The position will initially focus primarily on sustaining and improving existing production processes while progressively supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and manufacturing readiness initiatives.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and manufacturability across Oxygen8's product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Process Development
Experience and Skills
Benefits
At Oxygen8, we strongly believe in building a team that works well together, and we are committed to creating an environment that is inclusive and provides the space for individuals to learn and grow. We are proud to offer the following benefits to our team members:
At Oxygen8, we believe our best work happens when people feel respected, supported, and empowered to contribute as their authentic selves. We grow stronger when we grow together - by listening to different perspectives, learning from one another, and moving forward as one team.
We are built to evolve. That means continuously challenging our thinking, improving how we work, and creating space for new ideas and experiences to shape better outcomes - for our people, our partners, and the environments we help bring fresh air to.
Putting people first is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to fostering a workplace rooted in fairness, belonging, and mutual respect, where everyone has equitable access to opportunity, development, and support. Our focus is on creating an employee experience where individuals feel safe, valued, and able to do meaningful work that has real human impact.
Oxygen8 does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or exclusion of any kind. We are dedicated to maintaining an inclusive environment where differences are respected and where every team member can thrive - because fresh air always starts with people.
