Job Title: BI Platform Operations Engineer-Tableau, Quicksight, AWS
Location: Toronto, ON
Work Arrangement: Hybrid-2-3 days/ week
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Rate: CAD 65-72/Hour
Domain: BFSI

Skills:
- 10+ years of exp.
- Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise BI platforms in production environments.
- Strong experience with Tableau Server administration and operational support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Quicksight administration, authoring, and production support.
- Experience troubleshooting SPICE ingestion, dataset refreshes, direct queries, data-source connectivity, dashboard publishing, sharing, and access issues.
- Experience with Amazon Quicksight APIs / AWS SDKs, including programmatic management of Quicksight assets and permissions.
- Working knowledge of Amazon Athena and troubleshooting Athena-based BI workloads.
- Working knowledge of the AWS Glue Data Catalog, including databases, tables, schemas, partitions, and metadata.
- Understanding of AWS Lake Formation, particularly permissions and data-access management.
- Experience with AWS Lambda and troubleshooting serverless application components.
- Experience with Amazon API Gateway, particularly Lambda integrations and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon CloudWatch, including logs, metrics, dashboards, and alarms.
- Strong understanding of AWS IAM, roles, policies, permissions, and service-to-service access.
- Experience troubleshooting BI platform infrastructure, data connectivity, authentication, authorization, permissions, and performance issues.
- Experience with scripting or automation using technologies such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, AWS CLI, or similar tools.

Responsibilities
Administer and provide production support for enterprise Tableau Server and Amazon QuickSight platforms, troubleshooting data ingestion, refreshes, connectivity, publishing, access, and performance issues. Support related AWS services and BI infrastructure, including Athena, Glue, Lake Formation, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM, using scripting and automation where appropriate.
Requirements
Requires 10+ years of experience and strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise BI platforms in production, particularly Tableau Server and Amazon QuickSight. Candidates should have working knowledge of relevant AWS data and serverless services, strong IAM and troubleshooting skills, and experience with scripting or automation tools.
