We are seeking a technically strong Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with expertise in source-to-target data mapping, SQL, system integration analysis, and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Data Business Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with source-to-target data mapping and detailed technical specifications.
• Strong SQL skills for data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience analyzing application integrations, APIs, batch processing, file transfers, and end-to-end data flows.
• Knowledge of ETL, data migration, data quality, and process automation.
• Ability to independently analyze complex systems and translate business needs into development-ready requirements.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Agile delivery methodologies

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, data, and technical requirements.
• Develop detailed Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents, including field-level mappings, transformation rules, data types, validations, dependencies, and exception handling.
• Analyze application architecture, databases, APIs, batch processes, file transfers, interfaces, and upstream/downstream data flows.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes, identify gaps, and define automation requirements to improve STP.
• Perform gap analysis to identify data discrepancies, integration issues, manual processes, and required system enhancements.
• Use SQL for data analysis, mapping validation, data reconciliation, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, solution designers, QA teams, vendors, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support solution design, effort estimation, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect analysis, and issue resolution.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and complete technical specifications with minimal supervision.
• Assess integration dependencies and impacts across legacy and modern applications.
