Job Title: Functional QA experience with Business Analyst

Location: Mississauga, ON

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days a week)

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary Range: CAD$ 125k to 130k / Annum + Benefits

Domain: BFSI

Application Deadline: Sept. 30th, 2026

SKILLS REQUIRED:

10+ years of Functional QA/Testing experience with BA knowledge.
Strong Financial Services domain experience, preferably Trading Platforms / Treasury Front Office.
Understanding of Front-to-Back workflows across MM & FX: deal capture, execution, risk, confirmation, accounting, and settlement.
Strong SQL skills for data querying, validation, and reconciliation.
Experience creating Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Scenarios and executing Functional/Non-Functional testing.
Ability to identify, document, and communicate defects clearly using Jira, including expected vs. actual results.
Strong BA/stakeholder communication, root-cause analysis, quality metrics, and documentation skills.

Create test strategies, plans, and scenarios, and execute functional and non-functional testing for financial services applications. Query, validate, and reconcile data with SQL; document defects in Jira; and communicate findings and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Requirements

Requires 10+ years of functional QA or testing experience, business analysis knowledge, and strong financial services domain experience, preferably with trading platforms or treasury front-office systems. Candidates should understand front-to-back money market and foreign exchange workflows and have strong SQL, test documentation, defect communication, stakeholder communication, and root-cause analysis skills.
