Job Title: L3 Linux Administrator – WebSphere & Ansible

Location: Toronto, ON

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2days/week)

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Rate: CAD 45-48/Hour

Domain: BFSI

Skills:

  • 5+ years of exp. in administrating and supporting RHEL servers across Production, DR, and Non-Production environments.
  • Exp. in performing OS installation, patching, upgrades, security hardening, and performance tuning.
  • Exp. in troubleshoot Linux operating system, storage, file system, networking, and security-related issues.
  • Exp. in Install, configure, administer, and support IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS/WAS ND).
  • Support IBM HTTP Server (IHS), Plugin configurations, SSL certificate management, and middleware integrations.
  • Ansible & Configuration as Code (CaC) – Automation, configuration management, playbook development, and infrastructure standardization.

Responsibilities

Administer and support RHEL servers across production, disaster recovery, and non-production environments, including installation, patching, upgrades, security hardening, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Install, configure, and support IBM WebSphere and IBM HTTP Server, manage plugins and SSL certificates, support middleware integrations, and automate configuration using Ansible.

Requirements
