Job Title: Quality Engineer (QE) / SDET – AI Chatbot Validation

Location: Toronto, ON

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 days a week)

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 06-12 Months

Pay Rate: CAD 40-45/hour Incorporated

Domain: BFSI

Application Deadline: Nov. 30th, 2026

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  1. 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA, and Test Automation.
  2. Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or Groovy with automation framework development.
  3. Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, Cucumber, and API testing.
  4. Experience testing AI/LLM-powered applications, chatbots, prompt behavior, response accuracy, and hallucinations.
  5. Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, performance, and microservices testing.
  6. Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and DevOps tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute automated tests for AI- and LLM-powered chatbots, including validation of prompt behavior, response accuracy, and hallucinations. Test application functionality, integrations, APIs, performance, and microservices, and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

Requires 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, QA, and test automation, with strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Groovy and experience developing automation frameworks. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, Cucumber, API testing, AI/LLM application testing, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.
