Job Title: Spark Scala Java Developer

Location: Toronto, ON

Work Arrangement: Hybrid- 4 Days onsite

Employment Type: Contract

Domain: BFSI

Pay Rate: CAD 55-60/hr on Incorporated

Application Deadline: Sep 30th, 2026

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proficient in Scala and Java programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark – Core, Spark SQL, DataFrames, and Datasets.
  • Experience with Maven for build and dependency management and Git for version control.
  • Strong knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem and distributed data processing.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Helios, Spring Boot Web Services, and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience developing scalable data processing applications using Apache Spark and Scala.
