We are currently seeking a Full-Time Endoscope Repair Technician to join our high-energy team. You will work out of our state-of-the-art, 10,000-square-foot climate-controlled facility in Concord, Ontario, collaborating with top-tier professionals in a high-impact environment.

The Role

ScopeCare is an ISO 13485 certified company. All technicians are expected to follow strict directives and processes to ensure consistency in service and repair quality. You will perform intricate repair and testing of endoscopes, utilizing inspection microscopes, calipers, and precision hand tools (tweezers, small-scale pliers, precision screwdrivers, etc.), in addition to operating industry-specific testing devices to validate equipment performance.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have minimum 2 years experience in maintaining endoscopes and be fast learners with sharp observation skills and the ability to follow technical instructions. Additional experience with medical device servicing, specifically with flexible (ideally rigid, too) endoscopes, along with formal biomedical training and/or experience within a regulated healthcare environment will be considered strong assets to this position.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Technical Aptitude: Strong manual dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination, and familiarity with electronics and small hand tools.
  • Communication: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) necessary for a technical environment; additional languages are an asset.
  • Mindset: High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a service/repair industry.
  • Eligibility: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and live within a commutable distance to Concord, ON.

What We Offer

We provide a competitive remuneration package (salary range is $45,000 - $75,000 based on experience and technical expertise), including a comprehensive benefits plan and RRSP matching. Compensation consists of a base salary plus an annual performance-based bonus.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. No phone inquiries, please.
