The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and growth-oriented Surgical Product Manager for a full-time role based out of our Vancouver office. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, you will collaborate closely with the sales and management teams to champion the national portfolio.

National Responsibilities

Own Your Portfolio: Take full ownership of specific product categories, designing, developing, and executing high-impact business plans to accelerate sales, increase overall organizational knowledge, and build brand authority.
Drive Brand Awareness: Strategically launch and execute cutting-edge marketing campaigns and promotions to drive increased awareness of product lines under your responsibility.
Engage on the Frontlines: Bridge the gap between strategy and practice by participating directly at the site level in customer sales calls, high-level meetings, clinical site visits, in-services, and product trials/evaluations.
Capture Market Share: Maximize value within existing accounts, secure and win new business, and track monthly statistics/metrics to prove and demonstrate performance on strategic initiatives.
Build Key Relationships: Develop and maintain deep, trusted direct relationships with top clinical personnel, including charge nurses, department managers, and leading surgeons related to the product categories under management.
Become the Expert: Cultivate advanced clinical and industry expertise, actively seizing opportunities for continuous and advanced learning in specialized, specific fields of surgery.
Manage Supplier Partnerships: Work closely and cultivate strong relationships and communication with global suppliers, negotiating effectively and holding suppliers to account for their performance.
Innovate the Portfolio: Identify next-generation, beneficial line extensions and synergistic product additions to enhance our current portfolio and offerings.
Empower the Sales Team: Work collaboratively on a national basis with Product Specialists, Territory Managers, and District Sales Managers; provide them with education on the subtleties of individual lines and products, supply them with the tools to win, and target efforts in territories and regions where the greatest opportunities exist.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work hand-in-hand, closely, and cooperatively with customer service, operations, and marketing personnel to streamline processes, fuel growth, and support operational efficiency.
Be a Strategic Leader: Contribute actively and work well as a member of the broader management team, contributing outside of specific areas of concern as required; manage expenses related to travel, conferences, and promotions with a sharp eye for cost/benefit, evaluating outcomes to improve future decision-making.
Maintain High Standards: Conduct oneself and represent Keir Surgical ethically, professionally, and with the highest ethical standards at all times.

What You Bring

Clinical Expertise: A deep understanding of the Operating Room (OR) environment or a strong OR background/experience.
Proven Track Record: 3+ years of impactful experience in medical device sales or marketing, backed by established customer relationships.
Exceptional Communication: Top-tier verbal and written skills, with the ability to confidently present complex data to diverse stakeholders.
Bilingual Advantage: Fluency in both English and French is highly preferred and considered a major asset.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: A self-starter attitude blended with a fierce dedication to customer service.
Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives on sharing knowledge to achieve collective milestones.
Project Mastery: Superb time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects seamlessly.
Tech Savvy: High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

What’s In It For You

We offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package tailored to your experience and industry relationships. This role features a predictable base salary + plus performance-based bonuses, bringing the total expected annual OTE to $150,000–$200,000. Extended health and wellness benefits are also included.
