PAL Airlines is seeking a part-time Cargo Agent to join our St. John's, NL team.

PAL Airlines is seeking a part-time Cargo Agent to join our St. John's, NL team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accepting and handling cargo
- Screening, scanning & sorting cargo.
- Warehouse duties
- Loading/Unloading aircraft in all weather conditions.
- Operate Forklift
- Provide internal and external customer support
- Perform general office duties as required.
- General accounting and completion of daily sales reports.
- Other Duties assigned.
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service and/or warehouse in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
- Must exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills as this position requires on the spot decision making.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to obtain a clear Record of Conduct.
- Must be able to perform repetitive lifting.
- Persons with airline ground/cargo operations experience as well as RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) and AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operator Permit) will be given preference.

Responsibilities
Accept, screen, scan, sort, and handle cargo; perform warehouse duties and load and unload aircraft in all weather conditions, including operating a forklift. Provide customer support, complete general office and accounting tasks, and prepare daily sales reports.
Requirements
Requires at least two years of customer service and/or warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment, strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Candidates must be able to obtain a clear Record of Conduct and perform repetitive lifting; airline ground or cargo operations experience, a RAIC, and an AVOP are preferred.
