As we continue to grow our North American business, we are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Studies & Projects to join our team.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to lead complex mining studies, technical due diligence assignments and project evaluations for clients across North America, Europe and selected international jurisdictions.

Working from Toronto or Vancouver with our mining engineering, geology, geotechnical and mine economics teams, you will deliver high-quality technical outcomes while managing client relationships, project teams and commercial performance.

This role suits a technically strong mining professional who enjoys leading projects, solving complex challenges and helping clients make critical investment and development decisions. International travel will be required from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver mining studies from scoping through to feasibility level.
• Manage technical due diligence for mining companies, investors and lenders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and manage project delivery.
• Provide technical oversight of mine plans, production schedules and development strategies.
• Review operating mines, development projects and investment opportunities.
• Develop trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Prepare and present technical reports, recommendations and project outcomes.
• Support business development, proposal preparation and project scoping.

About You

You are an experienced mining engineer, technical services manager or project lead with a strong operations background and a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

You may currently be working in consulting, technical services, study management or a senior mine engineering role.

You Will Bring

• A degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or a related field.
• Strong experience managing mining studies and project evaluations.
• Experience leading technical due diligence assignments.
• Medium and long-term mine planning expertise.
• Experience across a range of commodities and mining environments.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and report writing capabilities.
• A commercial mindset and the ability to identify key project risks and value drivers.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.

Highly Regarded

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration.
• Mining consultancy experience.
• International project exposure.
• Experience working with investors, lenders or private equity groups.
