Contracts Lead III
Location: Edmonton
1 Year Contract
Job Responsibilities;
- Contracts lead is the primary commercial interface for the site.
- Have deep understanding of the site business processes.
- Extracting value by partnering in key processes such as GRS6 D&E, Annual Maintenance Plan, Long Range Plan, majors, rental coordination, MS&O spend reviews, etc.
- Accountable to review each of the above plans and identify commercial approaches to deliver incremental value.
- Ideally the person filling this role has been in the business and advocates for the best commercial outcomes.
- Acts as a straight edge and pushes the business to challenge long held paradigms in order to maximize corporate value.
- The role requires a liaison between the global procurement organization and the Strathcona refinery, serving as a single point of contact while balancing operational needs with procurement value.
- The ideal candidate should focus on building trust rather than being an aggressive negotiator, emphasizing the importance of working well with the refinery team.
- Candidate will face healthy tension and must work well with key stakeholders
Must-Have Skills
- Expereince on both procurement and business operations roles
- Oil & Gas Industry expereince
- Should have either manufacturing/refinery experience or procurement/supply chain experience
- Downstream oil and gas experience being particularly desirable

Requirements
