Marketing Assistant

ParagraphAI | In office, Toronto

Full-time or Part-time | $45,000 + Bonus

About ParagraphAI

ParagraphAI builds AI tools that help people communicate and get things done. Alongside our AI writing assistant, we develop products for consumers and businesses.

We're looking for a creative, organized Marketing Assistant to work directly with our founding team and help bring these products to market. Social media and content creation will be a big part of the role, alongside practical support for launches and marketing campaigns.

This is an in-office role. You'll work alongside the founder to brainstorm ideas, film content, and turn plans into published work.

What you'll do

  • Create short-form videos, product demos, social posts, and simple graphics for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Help script, film, and edit content, including appearing on camera and filming with the founder.
  • Turn product features and customer problems into clear, engaging stories.
  • Maintain a content calendar and handle scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
  • Help execute product launches, email campaigns, and creator collaborations.
  • Track content performance, website visits, and sign-ups, and suggest what to try next.
  • Keep marketing assets, deadlines, and follow-ups organized.

What we're looking for

  • Experience creating social content for a brand, business, client, or your own account.
  • Examples of videos or campaigns you've personally helped create.
  • Comfortable filming and appearing on camera.
  • Strong writing skills and a good eye for visuals.
  • Familiarity with tools such as CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Organized and proactive: you can take a brief, ask useful questions, and move work forward.
  • Curious about AI, software, and what makes people try a new product.
  • Available to work in person at our Toronto office.

A marketing degree or a large personal following isn't required, but would be an asset.

What you'll get

  • Direct collaboration with the founder and room to contribute your own ideas.
  • Hands-on experience taking AI products to market.
  • Ownership of content you can point to in your portfolio.
