Original job description

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Company: ParagraphAI

Location: Toronto, Canada (On-site)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: CAD $45,000–$55,000 base + uncapped commission

On-Target Earnings (OTE): $65,000–$85,000+

About ParagraphAI

ParagraphAI is a Toronto-based AI technology company building products that help people work smarter. Our AI-powered applications have reached over 1 million users, and we're looking for ambitious people to help us grow.

About the Role

We're hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to find new customers, start conversations, and generate sales opportunities for our growing portfolio of AI products.

You'll use cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and creative prospecting to connect with potential customers and book qualified meetings.

We're looking for someone resourceful, persistent, and comfortable hearing "no." Previous sales experience is an advantage, but attitude, work ethic, and results matter more.

What You'll Do

Find and research potential customers and decision-makers.
Make outbound cold calls and send personalized cold emails.
Prospect and engage leads through LinkedIn and other channels.
Book qualified sales meetings and follow up with prospects.
Experiment with messaging, outreach strategies, and AI-powered sales tools.
Track outreach activity, responses, and conversions.
Work directly with the founding team to improve our sales process.

What We're Looking For

Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
Confidence speaking with strangers and handling rejection.
Self-motivation, persistence, and a strong work ethic.
Comfortable learning new software and AI tools.
Organized, proactive, and results-oriented.
Previous B2B sales, cold calling, or lead generation experience is a plus, but not required.

What We Offer

$45,000–$55,000 CAD base salary + uncapped commission.
Target annual earnings of $65,000–$85,000+.
Opportunity to work on multiple fast-growing AI products.
Direct access to the founding team, with real ownership and responsibility.
Career growth opportunities into Account Executive, Sales Lead, or Business Development Manager.
A fast-moving environment where initiative and results are rewarded.

How to Apply

Apply directly here on LinkedIn. We care more about your drive, resourcefulness, and willingness to get things done than your credentials.
