We’re looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and working independently in the field. Previous field service experience is a strong asset.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial appliances and foodservice equipment.
- Service commercial cooking equipment, beverage systems, and related equipment.
- Complete service calls, installations, and preventative maintenance.
- Use meters, gauges, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Complete accurate service reports and communicate clearly with customers.
- Travel throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas to customer sites.
- Participate in ongoing manufacturer and technical training.
- 2+ years of hands-on technical experience in appliance repair, field service, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, automotive diagnostics, equipment repair, or mechanical maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude and confidence working with electrical and mechanical components.
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Dependable, organized, and willing to learn.
- Commercial field service experience.
- Commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment experience.
- Refrigeration certification or experience.
- Electrical apprenticeship or Journeyperson background.
- Gas appliance or HVAC experience.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install commercial appliances, foodservice equipment, cooking equipment, and beverage systems, including completing service calls and preventative maintenance. Travel to customer sites, use diagnostic tools, document service work, communicate with customers, and participate in technical training.
Requirements
Applicants need at least two years of hands-on technical experience in appliance repair, field service, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, automotive diagnostics, equipment repair, or mechanical maintenance. They should have strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, be able to work independently, communicate professionally, and hold a valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
