Project Manager/Senior Project Manager - Permanent - 4278
About the Opportunity
A Calgary general contractor with a healthy pipeline of ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) work is hiring, and they're open on level. Come in as a Project Manager or a Senior Project Manager, depending on what you bring to the table.
They'd rather find the right person and build the title around them than force-fit a fixed job description.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead assigned ICI projects from preconstruction through close-out
- Build, manage, and defend project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans
- Direct site teams, including Superintendents and Coordinators, toward successful delivery
- Own the client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships on your projects
- Draft and negotiate contracts, change orders, and subcontracts
- Spot and resolve risk before it derails the schedule or budget
- Report on project status and financial performance
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 5-10+ years of ICI project management experience; level is negotiable based on your background
- Demonstrated ownership of budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships
- Confident negotiator and communicator
- Construction Management, Engineering, or related credential
- Gold Seal certification is a plus, not a requirement
