You'll shape each project's creative vision while collaborating with the technical team to ensure every design is both beautifully imagined and flawlessly executed.
This role is ideal for an experienced designer who enjoys building strong client relationships, presenting creative concepts, sourcing exceptional furnishings and finishes, and confidently leading projects from beginning to end.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, and other consultant documentation.
- Conduct site measurements and site reviews throughout all phases of construction.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and fabrication drawings.
- Coordinate directly with contractors, fabricators, consultants, and trades.
- Resolve technical challenges proactively before they impact construction.
- Manage drawing revisions and maintain drawing accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure documentation aligns with PMD standards and project timelines.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Creative Designer to preserve design intent while developing practical construction solutions.
- Mentor junior and intermediate designers while supporting the continued growth of the technical team.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience at a high-end residential interior design firm.
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating luxury residential interior design projects.
- Strong understanding of residential architecture and interior detailing.
- Excellent space planning skills.
- Extensive knowledge of luxury furnishings, materials, finishes, lighting, and suppliers.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD is considered an asset.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area for meetings, site visits, and installations.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Highly creative with exceptional design instincts.
- Passionate about timeless, refined interiors.
- Confident presenting ideas to clients and guiding design decisions.
- Curious, resourceful, and continually inspired.
- Organized, collaborative, and proactive.
- Able to balance creativity with practicality.
- Committed to delivering an exceptional client experience from beginning to end.
