The Role
As a Facility Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the movement and sampling of grain, and the overall execution of processes involved in the operations of the grain facility.

The Role
As a Facility Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the movement and sampling of grain, and the overall execution of processes involved in the operations of the grain facility.
Day to Day
- Collecting and testing grain samples
- Handling and delivering crop input products
- Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
- Performing exceptional customer service duties
- Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming
- Experience working in a customer service role is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens
- Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions

Responsibilities
Collect and test grain samples, handle and deliver crop input products, and support the day-to-day operation of the grain facility. Perform facility maintenance and housekeeping, maintain a safe and compliant workplace, and provide customer service.
Requirements
Candidates should have general labour experience, preferably in agriculture or farming, and customer service experience is an asset. A valid driver’s license, ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds, tolerance for dusty and allergen-prone environments, and willingness to work flexible schedules in all weather conditions are required.
