The Role
As a Facility Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the operations of the facility.
Day to Day
- Handling, unloading and delivering crop inputs products
- Assisting in warehouse operations: sorting seed, stacking chemicals, transferring bulk product into totes
- Preparing custom application equipment
- Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
- Performing exceptional customer service duties
- Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Experience using a forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens
- Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions

Responsibilities
Handle, unload, and deliver crop input products while supporting warehouse operations, including sorting seed, stacking chemicals, and transferring bulk products into totes. Prepare custom application equipment, maintain and clean the facility, follow safety and compliance requirements, and provide customer service.
Requirements
Applicants should have general labor experience, preferably in agriculture or farming, a Class 5 driver's license, and experience using a forklift or other warehouse equipment. They must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds, work around dust and allergens, and work flexible schedules in all weather conditions.
