Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automated scripts to improve test efficiency, including environment setup, test execution, and reporting
- Be an integral part of enhancing the existing automation test framework
- Develop and enhance new and existing data generators and simulators
- Participate in project concept meetings to gather requirements
- Effectively communicate your design and project requirements to the end customer by ways of info sessions, brainstorming sessions, and presentations
- Be creative and think outside the box
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience with any IDE (Eclipse, IntelliJ) and version control system (SVN, Git)
- Knowledge of software languages such as Java, Python, SQL
- Experience with any test automation tools like Selenium preferred
- Knowledge of Jenkins and Jira preferred
- Knowledge of Groovy or Gradle preferred
- Knowledge with Linux systems
- Well-developed communication skills
- Strong commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a team or as an individual
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Education
- Currently enrolled in 3rd year studies in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Program
