We’re Hiring a Director, DeNovo Development & Onboarding

Anytime Dental Support Team | Ontario | Frequent Travel Required

Help Build What’s Next at Anytime Dental. Anytime Dental is growing, and we’re looking for a Director, DeNovo Development & Onboarding to help bring our newest clinics to life.

This is a highly hands-on leadership role responsible for taking new Anytime Dental clinics from planning through opening and into early-stage stabilization. Working closely with our EVP, DeNovo and teams across Operations, People & Culture, Recruitment, Clinical Leadership, IT, Marketing, Finance and more, you’ll ensure every new clinic is ready to open its doors with the right people, processes, systems and support in place.

You’ll be there where the action is - supporting teams on-site before, during and after launch, coaching new Clinic Managers, troubleshooting challenges and ensuring each clinic is positioned for long-term success.

This role requires frequent travel throughout Ontario and potentially other regions based on our clinic opening pipeline. Extended and overnight stays will regularly be required.

What You’ll Do

As Director, DeNovo Development & Onboarding, you will:

  • Partner with the EVP, DeNovo to develop and manage clinic opening plans, timelines, milestones and readiness requirements.
  • Lead the operational coordination of multiple new clinic openings from pre-launch through stabilization.
  • Bring together cross-functional teams including Operations, Recruitment, People & Culture, Clinical Leadership, IT, Marketing, Finance, vendors and construction partners.
  • Ensure clinics are operationally ready across staffing, scheduling, systems, supplies, workflows, patient experience and day-one execution.
  • Partner with Recruitment and People & Culture to support staffing plans, hiring timelines and onboarding of new clinic teams.
  • Coordinate training and onboarding so new team members understand the Anytime model, systems, workflows, service standards and expectations.
  • Provide hands-on, on-site leadership before, during and following clinic openings.
  • Coach and mentor new Clinic Managers, helping them build confidence, accountability and strong leadership practices.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges quickly while keeping multiple workstreams and stakeholders moving forward.
  • Monitor early clinic operations including staffing, schedules, patient flow, team effectiveness and emerging needs.
  • Support clinic stabilization and ensure a seamless transition to the Regional Director and ongoing Operations team.
  • Capture lessons learned from each opening and continually improve our DeNovo playbooks, checklists, processes and launch standards.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys turning plans into action.

You bring:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in dental operations, project management, multi-site leadership or a related field.
  • Experience opening new locations, clinics or business units is strongly preferred.
  • Dental, healthcare or multi-site service industry experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines, stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching, training and developing leaders and frontline teams.
  • Strong operational judgment and the ability to recognize what needs attention before it becomes a problem.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to influence across multiple departments and levels of the organization.
  • A solutions-focused mindset and comfort working in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Strong accountability, organization and follow-through.

Travel & Schedule Requirements

Travel is a significant component of this position.

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold a valid driver’s licence and be comfortable travelling frequently to different clinic locations and regions.
  • Be available for regular overnight travel, including stays of several consecutive days depending on the clinic opening schedule.
  • Maintain a strong on-site presence leading up to, during and following new clinic launches.
  • Have flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required to support clinic openings and our seven-day-a-week operating model.

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys being in the field, working directly with teams and seeing a project through from concept to opening day and beyond.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means new Anytime Dental clinics open prepared, compliant, confident and ready to perform.

You’ll help create an exceptional opening experience for our teams while establishing the operational foundation each clinic needs to deliver great patient care and achieve long-term success.

If you’re energized by growth, enjoy building something from the ground up and want to play a key role in the continued expansion of Anytime Dental, we’d love to hear from you.
