Registered Dental Hygienist

We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Parkway Dental, a proud part of the Passion Dental Group. Role details:

• Job Type: Part-time
• Schedule:

Wednesday 12 pm to 9 pm

Saturday 9 am to 6 pm

• Wage: $50 - $55 per hour

What you’ll do:

• Performing a full range of clinical hygiene services - including scaling, root planing, polishing, and applying topical fluoride - with precision and care.
• Assessing and case-typing patients in alignment with clinical protocols to ensure appropriate and personalized care plans.
• Acting as an oral health educator, guiding patients toward healthy habits and long-term preventative care strategies.
• Building strong and trusting patient relationships through every interaction - your positive attitude and professionalism will shine.
• Creating a tailored experience for each patient based on their unique needs, expectations, and goals.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Completion of a recognized Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
• In good standing with CDHO
• Malpractice/liability insurance through CDHA or ODHA
• IPAC certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills; you’re comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
• Comfort with dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience is a bonus!
• Experience in iTero scanning and Zoom whitening is considered an asset.
