We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sterilization Assistant to join our team, a proud part of the Passion Dental Group. Specifics about the role:

• Job Type: Part-time
• Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

What you’ll do:

• Assist with room set-ups and take-downs to ensure operatories are clean, stocked, and ready for patients.
• Seat patients and support the clinical team with basic patient needs, including taking blood pressure when required.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms according to clinic and industry protocols.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including completing required cycle documentation.
• Organize and restock operatories, supplies, and sterilization areas to keep the clinic running smoothly.
• Safely handle, sort, and dispose of biohazardous materials in accordance with clinic protocols.
• Support the clinical team in maintaining a safe, organized, and prepared environment for every patient.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental or healthcare sterilization/infection control role is preferred; however, we will train the right candidate.
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Friendly, professional demeanour with a patient-first mindset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
