Role Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Wage: $25 – $32 per hour (based on experience)
- Location: Vaughan
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures.
- Take and develop X-rays (if certified), and maintain accurate patient records.
- Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.
- Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment.
- Assist with procedures such as implants, extractions, bone grafts, and root canals.
- Certification as a Level II Dental Assistant.
- HARP and CPR certification required.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is considered an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfort using dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms, educate patients, and maintain accurate records, including taking and developing X-rays when certified. Support scheduling and patient communication as needed, assist with procedures such as implants and root canals, and help maintain a positive patient-focused clinic environment.
Requirements
A Level II Dental Assistant certification, HARP certification, and CPR certification are required. Candidates should have strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities, be comfortable with dental software and Microsoft Office, and work collaboratively; evening and weekend availability is an asset.
