Original job description
Vancouver, BC | Remote | Flexible | Self-Directed | 100% Performance-Based
What If the Career You've Built No Longer Fits the Life You Want?
You've worked hard to get where you are.
You've built experience, developed valuable professional skills and probably become the person others rely on to get things done.
But success can start to look different as our priorities change.
Perhaps you're still ambitious and enjoy achieving results, but another promotion, another company or another five years doing much the same thing no longer feels particularly exciting.
You're not looking to discard everything you've built.
You're looking for a different way to use it.
We work alongside an established international organisation providing online education and development programs for individuals seeking meaningful personal and professional growth.
We're looking to connect with experienced professionals who want to apply their communication, relationship-building and commercial skills in a more independent, self-directed environment.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a relationship-focused role combining client development, communication and digital marketing activities.
Your day-to-day activities may include:
Connecting with prospective clients through online and digital channels
Responding to enquiries and conducting structured introductory conversations
Asking thoughtful questions to understand individual goals and motivations
Introducing suitable educational programs and resources
Developing and maintaining professional relationships
Following up consistently with prospective clients
Implementing established digital marketing strategies to generate enquiries
Participating in regular online training and professional development
Managing your own priorities, activity and results
You'll have access to established systems, resources, training and ongoing mentorship while remaining responsible for managing your own day-to-day activity.
The Experience You Already Have Matters
This may particularly suit professionals with experience in:
Sales and business development
Account or relationship management
Customer experience
Management and team leadership
Consulting
HR or recruitment
Learning and development
Other people-focused professional environments
Your previous job title matters less than the skills you've developed along the way.
We're looking for someone who communicates confidently, enjoys building genuine relationships and has a strong, consistent work ethic.
You're comfortable setting goals, working without constant supervision and taking responsibility for your own results.
You'll also need to be open to learning new digital and marketing skills.
Greater Flexibility Doesn't Mean Starting Again
One of the biggest questions when you've spent years building a career is:
“Do I really want to start all over again?”
You don't have to.
Communication. Leadership. Commercial awareness. Resilience. Relationship building. Problem solving. Self-management.
Those skills travel with you.
This opportunity provides a different environment in which to apply them while continuing to develop personally and professionally.
Important - Please Read Before Applying
This is not a salaried employment position.
It is a self-directed, independent opportunity with 100% performance-based earnings and no base salary.
Individual results and earnings vary according to activity, effort and outcomes.
You'll need to be comfortable managing your own schedule, working independently and taking responsibility for your results.
You will also need:
Approximately 15–20 hours per week to dedicate consistently
Strong spoken and written English
Reliable internet access
Confidence using everyday online technology
The legal right to work in Canada
This opportunity is not suitable for students or anyone specifically seeking traditional salaried employment.
What You'll Have Access To
Structured onboarding and training
Established online systems and resources
Digital marketing strategies and resources
Regular online training sessions
Ongoing professional development
Mentorship and peer support
Flexibility to organise your work around other commitments
An established portfolio of online educational programs and events
Perhaps It's Time to Define Progress Differently
Career progression doesn't always have to mean climbing higher.
Sometimes it means deciding what you want your experience to give you next.
If you're an experienced professional who still has plenty of ambition but wants greater autonomy, flexibility and a different way to apply your skills, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
Apply to learn more and determine whether this could be the right fit for your next chapter.
If that sounds familiar, apply now. Note: if shortlisted, there will be a short initial discussion for us to learn more about you and for you to understand the role to see if we have a potential fit.
