Like a sports team, each role contributes to the company’s success. The order picker is the one who ensures the accuracy of orders for deliveries while following the best practices of the lumber yard!

Position summary

The position holder prepares orders for delivery, performs the loading and unloading of trucks using a forklift. They greet and respond to customer needs by providing personalized and courteous customer service while following control procedures. They receive merchandise from various suppliers. They restock shelves and maintain the yard while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and procedures.

Le titulaire du poste prépare les commandes pour les livraisons, effectue le chargement et le déchargement des camions à l’aide d’un chariot élévateur. Il accueille et répond aux besoins des clients en offrant un service à la clientèle personnalisé et courtois en pratiquant les procédures de contrôle. Il effectue la réception de la marchandise en provenance des divers fournisseurs. Il regarnit les étagères et effectue l’entretien de la cour en assurant le respect des normes et procédures reliées à la santé et la sécurité au travail.

Connaissance des matériaux de construction, un atout;

Le titulaire du poste devra communiquer avec notre clientèle en français et en anglais, car une partie importante de notre clientèle provient de l'Ontario.
