Troubleshoot machinery malfunctions, repair or replace defective parts, fabricate components, and perform routine maintenance, installation, and setup. Operate machining tools, program PLCs, and interpret blueprints and specifications to support equipment operation, testing, and shutdowns.
Requirements
Requires an industrial mechanic or construction millwright trade certification, with three to less than five years of experience; a Red Seal endorsement and an occupational health and safety certificate are also listed. Candidates should have experience with welding, PLCs, mechanical equipment, and machinery such as conveyors, packaging equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, and compressors.
